- Use the API reference and authoritative OpenAPI JSON contract for automation and agent access.
- Use the self-hosting guide to install, configure, back up, and upgrade an OpenPost instance.

## When OpenPost is not a fit

- Do not treat documentation as proof that a social provider or exact account can publish a format today; check current readiness and run the documented live test.
- Do not use public docs to infer private workspace data, tokens, connected accounts, drafts, schedules, or publishing results.
